Charles, a widower with two young children, has just returned to England after participating in a military campaign.Their first meeting was a disaster - and not for the reason you may be thinking.It is a really fun story. I loved how they were "Miss Downy" and "The Colonel" right up until nearly the end. It granted a nice level of feeling authentic.Charles was quite a disciplinarian and he ran his home as a tight ship. It wasn't just Mandy who went over his desk - especially in one particular scene.If you like the traditional historical romance and I do mean traditional I think you will enjoy this.
