Gabriel's Inferno was a book about intense love that finally led up to one event. This is about the aftermath. And, like a lot of sequels, it just isn't going to be quite as good as the original. Otherwise there just wouldn't be a story.A lot of it hinged on a lack of communication but in the end, there were enough elements to make it work. A lot of questions were wrapped up and it had a satisfying ending. It wasn't as good as the first book, but well worth reading to see how the story ends.
